o much more than a bed and breakfast... The Trailhead BnB is a 1890's farm house nestled on 20 acres in the beautiful Trout Lake valley.

Pat and Mary have lived here for over 40 years and would love to show you why Trout Lake is the best recreation area around! Come and meet them, enjoy their home and share wonderful tales of local history, or enjoy browsing in our small town's Saturday Market during the summer months.

We are located in a one of a kind mountain meadow as only nature can make it. Peaceful, mystical, and beautiful. At night the meadows natural bowl forms a celestial dome of spectacular stars. The fantastic display of stars, meteor showers, and other worldy phenomena have been highly touted as some of the best in the northwest and is well worth bringing your telescope!

During the day, the variety of wildlife to be seen is awesome as well as abundant. For hunters and fishermen the game and streams are not far off and plenty of it for everyone! We have some of the best fishing throughout the gorge.

Come and enjoy the easy life, bird watching, nature walks, explore caves, go hiking, fishing, hunting, photography opportunities, or just read a good book.

We have rooms available year round for those of you that like Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, Snow Mobile and more.

In addition to the natural lures of the Trout Lake area, the Trailhead has become the place for some of the most entertaining events around. We've hosted a number of talented musicians, trade and barter faires, birthday bashes, weddings and more! It only takes one visit to see that this place is a special one, and that the people, atmosphere and energy are truly unique.
