For those of you who love the outdoors. Our beautiful valley is a haven of nature's splendor.

Choose to lose yourself in our lush forest, on awesome trails to hike or bike, where you have the opportunity to see wildlife and enjoy fresh huckleberries and blackberries from the trail.

For the more adventurous, there is‘spelunking' in some of our many local caves, most were used in pioneer times and acquired such names as ‘Butter Caves',‘Christmas Tree Caves' and 'Ice Caves'. Many of these caves are within easy hiking distance from the BnB. There are also several local businesses that specialize in helping you arrange white water rafting tours, rock climbing expeditions, and more!

During the winter bring your snow mobiles, snow shoes and X-Country Ski's! We have plenty of snow to play in, whether it's building some snowmen in the yard, having a blast in one of the Forest Service's snow parks or trekking into the forest around the house to enjoy the quiet solitude that winter has to offer.

Camping is popular here year round... We appreciate that you camp safely. As we are subject to seasonal fire bans, we request that there be no fires unless the main fire pit is up, or you have been assigned a fire barrel. Please leave your pets at home, especially during festivals and other events. We do have pets here including, Oreo, the family dog and Cali, our sweet kitty so feel free to love ours while you are here!
